Fashion Show Fundraiser Volunteer Model and Volunteer Information

Monique, Myan, and the Ankhsemble.com Team are extremely grateful you can join us as a Volunteer and/or Model. We are elated to be hosting our very own Fashion Show and Fundraiser, that we organized and put together ourselves. This journey has been hard work, and putting on Fashion Show takes a whole team of people. We can’t do this without you. We need your support through your presence and cooperation. Below you will find all of the information you need.

It is imperative that you arrive on time or prior to 5:00PM. We will not hold a dress rehearsal until the day of which starts at 5:00PM. At this time, volunteers will get all information needed to help out and models will walk the runway to practice before the show. The show promptly starts at 6:00PM. When you arrive, please do not leave until the show is over. There will be a break for you to use the restroom etc. We need your commitment for ONLY an hour and 30mins. The Runway portion is ONLY 8-10 mins.

Arrival Directions

When you arrive through the floor main doors (into the vestibule), walk to your right and through to the staircase to access the elevator(the elevator next to the staircase). Go to the 4th floor make the first right into the main floor area. To your left, you will see a large glass wall. Enter into the first set of double gas doors and follow the corridor around to the left and then make a left at the end of the hallway. You will see the Backstage room.

(1) free Ticket to Backstage Raffle(for Volunteers and Models ONLY
- Raffle tickets will be distributed at 5:15PM and 5:39PM ONLY
- YOU MUST BE PHYSICALLY PRESENT TO RECEIVE YOUR RAFFLE TICKET.
- Fashion Show Raffle Tickets must be purchase to enter Raffle
(1) free lite lunch
- No Eating is allowed in any of the areas including; backstage, stage, the room where the fundraiser is being held, or the main floor of the library. Please enjoy your meal on the first floor. On the first floor in the Reading Room, there is a Cafe area with tables.

6:00 – Models Begin Dressing

6:18- Models In-Line

6:20- Walk

6:28- Backstage Raffle

6:30- Lite Meal (Must Eat On First Floor)

Model Attire

Please wear undergarments and an undershirt under your shirt, black or dark colored jeans, and black or dark shoes. Heels are optional. We will provide models with garments that will be returned to us after the Runway Show.

Men- will ONLY model Tie-Dye T-shirts.

Women- will wear a Tie-Dye shirts and or a skirt and shirt. *There will be a private changing area backstage.

Eating or drinking is NOT allowed in any garment. Please treat the garments with respect that they not be damaged while putting them on or taking them off. There will be staff members to help. Thank you.

Modeling Prep

We can pretend, but realistically The Fashion Show Fundraiser is not a runway for Paris Fashion Week. We will be in a room of our peers and supporters so let the butterflies in your stomach fly away. You are here to gain experience and exposure, support a good cause, and/or support someone you love and care about.

The best way to be prepared is to plan and practice. Get in front of the mirror and walk to get some practice in and decide on some poses now to be prepared for the show. Just in case this is your first time and you are anxious about what to expect, here are a few instructions and tips.
