Rules
Professional conduct: Be respectful, on time, and prepared. Harassment, discrimination, and unsafe behavior are prohibited.
Compliance: Follow venue rules, DC fire/egress codes, ADA access, and staff directions.
Attendance: Show up for all required dates on your role’s schedule. Confirm conflicts 48 hours in advance.
Registration & agreements: Complete registration, releases, and agreements before participating.
Media package due: Fri, Mar 13, 2026 (bio, headshot/logo, social handles, credits).
Final due date: Fri, Mar 20, 2026 (all department needs and payments).
Promotion: Share official posts and invite guests when able.
Backstage rules: Closed area; water only near garments; no food in fitting areas; obey dressing room captains.
Substances: Drug-free and smoke-free facility. Alcohol only if the Center authorizes it in writing (not expected).
Minors: Must have a parent/guardian or approved chaperone at all times; minor release required.
Media consent: Photo/video may occur throughout; by participating you agree to promotional use.

Volunteer role (no pay); must secure 1 Designer Assistant (assistant is mandatory for Dress Rehearsal and Show Day).

Requirements
Volunteer leadership role overseeing all designer outputs, styling cohesion, and runway presentation.
Partners closely with Producer, Stage Manager, Creative Director, Music Manager/DJ, Lighting Manager, Models, and Designer’s.
Ensures each designer has 1 assistant and delivers runway-ready looks on time.

B. Deliverables & Standards
- Collection completion: Entire look list ready by Mar 20, 2026; no new designs after this date.
- Rack documents: Look numbers, model assignments, garment care notes, accessories list, quick-change flags.
- Music notes: Track titles, timecodes, and any start/stop cues (submit by Mar 20).
- Runway styling: Shoes and undergarment guidance per model; provide any unique accessories.
- Quality & safety: Secure closures; no sharp edges; hem/fit suitable for runway; heels tested for stability.
C. Assistants & Backstage
- Each Designer must secure 1 Assistant; present at Dress Rehearsal and Show Day (mandatory).
- Assistants handle: rack setup, steaming, quick-changes, accessory check, post-show pack-out.
D. Workspace & Classes
- Sign-in/out required; clean-as-you-go; return shared tools; label projects and fabric bins.
- No food or open liquids near machines; use cutting mats and press cloths.
E. Conduct & Communications
- Respond to production emails within 24 hours.
- Missed deadlines may result in looks being cut from the show.
- Repeated lateness/no-shows may disqualify a collection.
